Response to @ablipintime: "What is your line of work? Curious how you tolerate co workers if you are not in a line of work where everyone is on your level. This is a compliment!"
"I actually work for one of the twelve largest credit unions in the world, where I get to utilize my English Literature and Linguistics degrees roughly 19% of the time. For the uninitiated, a credit union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that fundamentally differs from a bank in that it is collectively owned by its members, who vote for their Board of Directors in a one-person/one-vote system, all of which goes a really long way towards explaining my personal economic and electoral positions. I also work with a phenomenal team of professionals whose broad range of knowledge, interest, and opinions regularly both challenge and inspire me to critically evaluate my own thoughts."
