Response to @shadybeaty13: "Name one species that has changed kinds."
"I want to take this opportunity to alert anyone who doesn't already know about this particular lexical red flag. Biological organisms are classified by domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species; 'kind' is not now, nor has it ever been, an actual taxonomic category. It is nothing more than disingenuous creationist rhetoric borrowed from Genesis 6:20 in an attempt to reconcile how Noah fit all those animals onto the Ark: he didn't collect two (or seven) of every species, but rather of every kind. This is an attempt to inject Biblical literalism into a scientific subject, so if you are looking for a productive discussion on the topic, this is the exact point at which you can safely disengage, because no one who uses this term in this context is conversing in good faith."
